I know the horse has bolted......but may I suggest a way of preventing this happening again in the future. A very simply routine to get into.......save a factory file for everything you print. Disk space is cheap. Wigs are expensive! PS For those who didn't get the joke.....when you get frustrated y...

I see we will have to disagree!

I'd be really disappointed should the flexibility of operation of the support generation be restricted to cater for some users not understanding how the software works.

Supports often being generated even when manually removed.
I think you'll find this is not a bug.

If you are able to identify the exact face you want to place on the bed, there is a dropdown item ( Edit dropdown) that will move the part so the selected face is flat to and on the bed.
