For those looking for the SPEED tab, those entries are in the OTHER writeup above. Guess S3D was changed a bit since this helpful post was created. Thanks again to the author !

Re: Prime Pillar and Oozue Shield are useless.

So simplify3d ist mostly the best slicer out there, but when it comes to Dual Printing it not very good. The main problem is the priming of the nozzles. i usually prime the nozzles with a skirt. but that does not work because my printer is always trying to print the PrimePillar/OozeShield bevor the...

Re: Build Statistics

I believe build time is calculated as follows: -Loop through remaining lines to be printed -Take the distance of each move and the speed of each move and calculate a time needed to complete it -Add up all the times To prevent from doing an insane amount of math, this is the best way to go about it. ...

Re: Dual extrude filament settings

Hi team , I would like to see a second set of setting for my second nozzle filament size, under other tab , Filament properties. I found a lot of the cheaper plastic varies in dieamiter size from one roll to the next. I know I could always use the nozzle size and extrusion width to compensate but I...

Re: Version3.1.1 Any improvements from requests?

Don't tell me this is a repeat of this previous thread.... https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5391&p=23306&hilit=upgrade#p23306 looks like it ... 5 months of work - Japanese, French, German, Italian, and Spanish localization is usually not something devs do, you pay someone to transla...

Re: Separating a Raft from a Part

I have created parts with rafts using the default settings. The result is that the parts are nearly inseparable from the raft. If I pry off the raft I have a spaghetti tangle of filament attached to the part. I can chisel this away but it is a tedious process. Is there any way to get the raft to co...

Re: Saving GCode Starting Scripts

I see, so when I go into the profile, make the changes to the startup script for left extruder and update the profile. So it only saved the change for left extruder for that particular profile? So ill have to do with for each of my profiles then correct? The starting scrips for the left extruder, r...

Re: Tip of the Day 8- Scripts tab, G-Code

Wiping + Retract during wipe movement is what you're looking for. (Wipe can be turned on in the extruder tab, and retract during wipe is in the advanced tab) Yes, I have both of these selected and for some reason it still leaves little tip marks on each separate horizontal layer for some reason. It...
