Re: STL not anchored to the bed

Try using a brim or drop the model a bit below the table so that you get a larger flat surface on the bottom

Re: My Memory Loss

Just do a copy/paste so that you have 2 copies of the model on the bed. Then click Prepare to Print and it should slice both of them. By default, I think it prints layer 1 of the first part, the layer 1 of the second part. So it should automatically help you a lot with cooling. There's more info on ...

Re: Stopping and starting at layer X to change filament

Reading up, I just noticed that the M0 command will turn the temperature down to 0. That is not correct. It doesn't drop the temperature unless you explicitly add something like M104 S0 before you send the M0 command. The M0 on it's own is literally the EXACT same as just pressing the pause button ...

Re: Extruder light - Target Temp not working in Machine Cont

Well perhaps you accidentally changed the starting script that sends these commands to the printer. Try re-downloading their stock profile by going to help > configuration assistant and selecting your printer from there.

Posting your factory file would be much more helpful (go to file > save factory file)

Re: Z-Scar when printing circular tubes

I've printed many circular objects that came out just fine. I don't get any Z-scar once I set the correct retraction settings.

Re: Simplyfy 3d fills in horizontal sections

99% chance it's a problem with your STL file. That's the only thing I've ever seen do something like that. Try repairing the STL file first.

Re: Z-Scar when printing circular tubes

It probably just means you need to adjust your retraction settings. Perhaps add some coasting or use a negative extra restart distance.

Re: Thin walls being added

Those aren't walls, they are just travel movements. It's normal to see those. You can toggle them by unchecking the "travel moves" checkbox in the preview window.

Re: Non negative extrusion distance.

Wow, that seems like a terrible restriction for a firmware. That essentially means that you can't do any retractions in the beginning of your print. How silly of them to create firmware that has this limitation when every other firmware out there has no problems with doing a G1 E-1 or similar command
