Re: Update?

Guys, you're never going to get a software developer to give you an estimate of when the next big update is coming - it's likely they don't know themselves. And you're not going to get them to spill the beans about new features before the release, because it can only hurt current sales and tip off t...

Re: Slicer behavior for thin walled sections

Alex of Slic3r has been working on this. and you can see the results here:

https://github.com/alexrj/Slic3r/issues ... -198766557

It would be great to have something similar in Simplify3D.

Re: Adjustable infill

This might be difficult because a "top layer" can be very localized in the part (technically, a cone is nothing but "top layers". HOWEVER, it occurs to me that infill could benefit greatly from having a list like the temperatures. Something like: LAYER PERCENTAGE 1 10 400 5 1000 ...

Re: Slicer behavior for thin walled sections

That's EXACTLY the same problem Slic3r have. Peoples don't understand that MORE IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER. PERIOD. If an extrusion does not fit into a wall or 3 perimeters don't fit in, CHANGE THE NOZZLE. You can't turn a screw with a sledge hammer. Why, for God sake, you want an 0.1 extrusion width wit...

Re: Process Order Editing

Yes, this would be damned handy. Another issue is that the Top/Bottom layers setting on a process applies to the start at and end at heights. So if, for example, you want to print an object with different infill or perimeter settings at different heights, you will get solid layers at the top or bott...
