Re: FFF Profile Feature on Webpage

As its Polling Day in the UK, I've got to give a political answer!!! That's a very good question, but the question you should be asking is "Can someone document a good procedure for running through a string of steps/tests to set up a printer to print in a new material and/or filament?" As every prin...

Re: What do I do with Simplify with printers that can not sh

Taking this one step further....has anyone any experience of printing layers as thin as this with a nozzle size of 0.2mm???

Printing models in 1/450 scale is a challenge when you consider one 0.4mm width layer is the equivalent of 18cm !!

Re: Replicator 2 problem with height

Hi Rednels

Out of curiosity (as I also use a Replicator 2), what temperature were you printing at before you lowered it by 20 degrees?? I hope I'm correct in asuming you're printing in PLA.

Re: New location for the object editing window

The same goes for the Support Generation window.

Why can't the x-y coordinates of these windows be automatically saved like windows on many other applications....so the window opens in the last place it was put!

[ADDED] A better way of saving/loading profiles

Simplify3D is a great slicer program that has the ability to perform with a wide range of printers....but for me, and I suspect for many new users, it has an enormous weakness - a horribly confusing way of storing and retreiving print settings. A scenario to illustrate what I mean.... A new user fol...

Re: Windows 10

Is Simplify3D ready for windows 10 ? A simple question .....but only when put in context! As Windows 10 is being offered in an attempt to recover from the disaster of Windows 8 ( why else would they offer it as a free upgrade? ). I think it would be self-defeating if at the same time Microsoft remo...
