Re: Better Ooze management through dedicated Global value: filament profile data

It would be great if it was done, for us by S3D. But it might be made simpler by leaving this as a optional ,use at own risk, in development feature. Lets us populate the charts with test results from our own machines and filaments. Now later at the option of the user, S3D may download that data and...

Re: Warm, Purge, Print, Purge, Retract, Cool, Wipe

Yes and I do as much as I am clever enough to implement right now. As specified in both previous comments I did briefly use the Code specified in the help docs and on several user sites. Old Tool, New tool. Though I was able to move away from that (it conflicted), when I started using an extra tool ...

Re: Dynamic reduction of speed

There is a time and place for the gap filling. I am not a fan of it as it is. However there are times when S3D refuses to fill any other way. Even when the extruder could produce one more line, or even dynamically reduce the extrusion width. Perhaps another Feature quest is an over stitch of gap fil...

Re: Warm, Purge, Print, Purge, Retract, Cool, Wipe

Slowly but surely I have begun to unravel the complex process in which S3D sequences generated cGode. The result is a arduous and daunting but ultimately slightly rewarding result. I have uncovered some nuisance behavior in Prime Pillars and learned to work around it to get the results I want. I hav...

Better Ooze management through dedicated Global value: filament profile data

I would like to see some dedicated global values added that are 100% independent of any processes or profiles. But perhaps maybe still tweak able or over ridden from said Processes. In particular I feel that the greater market ignores many things regarding filament that are important and while some ...

Dynamic reduction of speed

When performing a "Gap Fill" without a reduction, the head may violently shake left to right. For a machine with a light bowden extruder this isn't much of an issue. But on any machine with one or more direct drives. There is far more torque. Not only does this require more powerful motors...

Custom Color Assignment: Active Tool Head

It can be daunting and confusing to see Green and Blue when the colors are black and White, or Red and Green and the green color is the opposite extruder. In my case the the E1, the left extruder is BLUE, and the E0, the right extruder is RED. This alone would be reason to customize the colors. But ...

Warm, Purge, Print, Purge, Retract, Cool, Wipe

I need to ask for a complex feature. Perhaps even this requires several features that can be used together. *It has been recommended that I use slicers other than Cura or S3D. But have chosen to stick to this path for the time. I currently use Dual Direct J-Head. In the software T0, and T1 are repre...

Re: Warm, Purge, Print, Purge, Retract, Cool, Wipe

I actually have both Duet Maestro and SKR PRO 1.1 running Marlin 2.0.x By default the Marlin is nothing like Duet. However I know of no reason that Marlin could not be configured to operate much the same as Duet. Infact the SKR PRO should be able to run a Web Interface much the same. The hardware is...

Re: Warm, Purge, Print, Purge, Retract, Cool, Wipe

This code lised in some help manuals and under support. Doesn't seem to do anything. If placed in the Post Processing. It seemed like stuff was removed. If placed in the the Tool Change script box, the code was cut and paste into the Gcode. The printer clearly has no idea what to do with this code. ...
