Warm, Purge, Print, Purge, Retract, Cool, Wipe

Hello S3D and community! I am operating a heavily modified FT-6 . The controller is switched out with a SKR PRO 1.1 , Y-axis is now dual not series, and the Primary extruder is dual direct. Many more lovely changes coming as time and cash permits this beast shall become a true machine. Edit: It's r...

Shell/Skin layer separation

I have been having an issue, perhaps in tuning? I am running test prints over and over. Very painstaking to get walls to print stable. But two issues pop up. * One if in single wall, or vase mode, I have trouble getting the layer to just print thin and wide. It is as if something in the software fig...

Random Missing layers V4.1.1

Observed as I edit multiple FFF to allow for complex functions sometimes one or more FFF will simply not make it to the preview for slicing. No reason, no error, just not there. I can go back and make sure they are selected, for slicing and the model is selected in the profile. All systems go, nope ...

Multiple ways to define infill movements

* I use multi layer patterns to increase durability several times over. But I can only define linear movements based on numerical Angles provided. I would enjoy being able to define more than this as infill, including concentric, and define an alternation. The same as Diaphragm can be defined. For n...

Re: please support G0 and G1

Note that some firmware like RepRap for Duet also ignore this difference, where as Marlin is said to observe it.

Constant Crashes when editing or saving Profiles

This has long been an issue. When more than one FFF is in use. I can make as many as I want but editing the Profile attached could cost me everything. I point my long finger at the way the data is stored in the registry rather than its own file. Though of course I cannot prove this. I have had to du...

Re: Variable settings wizard: by Layer, or by Line.

By the way one really great reason to have per layer ability is to create interleaved layers. Why? Well if you take the time to make multiple profiles, you can do something really cool. That is to directly manipulate walls, and layers. No not infill. I switch between different strategies based on wh...

Re: Variable settings wizard: by Layer, or by Line.

True enough, changing one variable will effect others. This is something an advanced user must contend with. It would be presumptuous to assume a savvy developer could figure out how to adjust some of this for us, and more presumptuous to assume that any of us would want it being adjusted automatica...

Re: "Erode First Layer" Feature Request

There are a few first layer tricks I use. Including thinner layer with tighter calibration. Also using an extremely thin wide raft. The thin layer works but requires a manual arrangement of FFF files with slightly different profiles assigned. This typically produces a far higher quality but is a pai...

Re: Com 10

What I want is to define a port or way to communicate with each printer in use via the "Update Firmware Configuration" panel. This would allow me to save not just the basic info about the printer but also how and where to connect. Thus when running a print with a particular saved "Pro...
