Re: I Can't Connect with Wanhao Duplicator I3

Duplicator i3 is notorious when it comes to usb connection :( I had a similar issue and I was able to connect only after replacing the usb cable and unchecking wait for start up in Firmware config.

Re: Anyway to disable "Excessive Bed Temperature" Warning?

Hi, Is there a way to disable that annoying "Excessive Bed Temperature" Warning? or at least set the threshold to something more than 150°C. I'm printing Acetal/POM and frequently use a bed temperature of about 160°C Thanks, David. Which printer are you using ? and where are you getting this msgh ?

1. Will I have full control of my CTC using OctoPI after having installed sailfish firmware (7.6 I believe) through the S3d software? A. Will I send g-code to OctoPi, or...? B. Will I need the GPX plugin with OctoPI? 1. If using the GPX plugin through OctoPI and not the g-code, will I loose functio...

Re: Changing heads on Tax 6...

From S3D you can send gcode commands to the firmware to update the values. S3D does not change anything inside the firmware. For Extruder head replacement, ESteps per mm is the only parameter that needs to be changed in the firmware. Sometimes, if you are upgrading to a all metal, you can increase t...

Re: z axis home

The Z axis only moves up and down. If you want the toolhead to move left or right (which is in the X axis), go to the endscript and change accordingly. Usually, I have seen sample end scripts having G28 X0, which takes the toolhead to the home position which is safe, if you want to do something spl,...

Re: Duel hotend volcano & v6

Yup, I've done this before. It's pretty easy to setup. You can configure each extruder separately to use different nozzle sizes. It's really useful since you can print the outer perimeters in high quality with a 0.2mm tip or something like that, and the print the interior really fast with a 0.8mm n...
