Re: PRUSA Issue

Make sure you downloaded (manually - the update feature does not work for it) the latest update. It still shows as 4.0 on the website, but it is actually 4.0.1.

Re: S3D Development Update - Aug 2018

What is the feel for if the built in updater will actually detect the update this time around? The 4.0.1 update was invisible to S3D, but is required to use S3D with the Prusa I3 Mk3.

Re: S3D Development Update - Aug 2018

Do you have a list of what new printer profiles will be getting added to the software? Unless I'm mistaken, printer profiles are added continuously, not just with software updates. When you launch the configuration assistant in Simplify3D, it goes online to download the current list of printer prof...

Re: Multiple models?

That is what I do as well. The interesting thing is that your profile changes do not commit until accept them or close the window. This is handy if you have one item that needs a raft and all others do not. Open S3D, load your first non-raft model. Open S3D again (click the icon on the desktop) and ...

Re: Check for Updates that actually tells you when there is an update

Re-read my post above on this thread. Not broken....but an issue in the way the last update was entered in the delivery software. And look here: https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=10702 ..and here: https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=10691#p43318 For me, it is a 1...

Re: API for add-ins

Since the original request was so long ago, we can be confident S3D has no plans on letting us turn this software into the only slicer anyone would ever think of using.

Pretty sad - an offer of free labor to make their product better and they say no.

Re: Installation Update

I would also like the updater to actually let us know when there is an update - especially if I manually run the check. 4.0 to 4.0.1 is a prime example of the updater being worse than useless - it made me think I had the latest version when I did not.

Re: Adaptive infill, please

You are right, it appears S3D is just sitting still while everyone else races past them...and the others are free.
