Re: Heated bed temperature decreases during print

I bet that Becky is right. And I´ve reed somewere that It´s recommended to lower the temperature to between 80 and 90 degrees after the first layer to prevent the cables and connections to break. Skirt/Brim bug ??

Hi,
Skirt/Brim does not seem to be affected by the first layer underspeed.
I have difficulty to make it stick. Should it not be printed with the same underspeed?

Re: Modelling program.

How about Blender. I haven´t used it my self but i´ve seen lot great stuff done with it. And it´s free, open source.
It´s not for mechanical engineering, more like skulptrering and 3d-picture making. You can save obj-file and I think you can save stl also.

Re: Raft separation distance and next layer height problem

The raft is going the opposite direction as it did in version 2. This results in worse bottom surface, higher bounding and less accurate prints because you have to add more space between the raft and your print. Since we also lost the possibility to change solid infill angle in V3 it´s not much to d...

Re: Problems Removing Raft

It was no problem at all with 0,14 separation in V2. The raft angle goes the other way in V3 wich makes it difficult. Since they also managed to take away the possability to control the solid infill angle in V3 :( , there is nothing else but to go down to a minimum of temp for the first bottom layer...

Re: Solid infill angel bug

I can´t se any reason why it shouldn´t work with the new infill patterns and I haven´t found any documentation on this change. In V2 it works just fine and there is probably a lot of more reasons to change your solid infill angles than the internal if you want a good print. Now if Simplify launched ...

Re: Solid infill angel bug

That´s not true. That setting is for solid layers to. It´s a bug in V3.

Re: Nozzle diameter different than actual extruded filament

That´s not how you do it. You should build a single wall. The recommendation is to set your extrusion width no lower than 1,2 times your nozzle diameter.
If you wan´t good adhesion between the layers you have to squeeze down the filament a bit.

Solid infill angel bug

Solid infill angle don´t work at all. -45 or 45 degrees on solid infill no matter settings.
