Re: Enable Automatic Supports Question.

I was confused on how this works for a minute but I actually like it. In v4, If you have multiple processes then you have multiple support settings. In V5 the supports seem to be made part of the model independent of processes. Each process can still have different support patterns/designs/percents,...

Re: Simplify3D V5 no longer useable for RC airplane prints

Yea! Got one thing fixed. I was looking at your model. Here is something to try. Keep reducing the extrusion width, like 0.4 to 0.39 etc., and see if the parts show up at some point. this would indicate that the walls are very thin. Maybe it is a start. I can try that but the models are designed fo...

Re: Changing the scale of a model does not maintain the scale percentage value V5

I just posted about the same thing. On top of that supports seem to change scaling/model size a little even though there are no supports outside of the model. Definitely would be nice to have this back to v4 style. If I change a model to 100.8 in x/y, sometimes I back this off to 100.6. Now I have t...

Model scaling percent resets to 100% after size change.

A frustrating and unwelcome change to how model scaling works. Took me a bit to figure this out. V4 always held the model scaling values. I set my x/y to 100.8% and it is nice to have a visual reference that the model is set to that. It now changes back to 100%, but the model retains the new size.

Re: Not able to use second license.

No he means he had 2 seats per license on v4 and now only only has one on v5.

I never needed 2 seats, but it was nice to have s3d installed on two computers. Unwelcome change to reduce the number of seats per license....

Re: All processes selected by default

I actually prefer all processes being selected by default. If I have multiple processes setup for a model 99% of the time I want them all to print. It was inconvenient to have to select the processes all the time.

Re: To help restore faith in S3d.

I'd like to see support gap in .5 layer increments. If I am using .32 layers or higher, I'd like to still be able to keep the support interface at .16.

Re: OK, Time to Start Yet Another "Where is Version 5? " Thread

How serendipitous that I would think to check back today. Surely you can see how that does not inspire confidence. What will 5.0 offer at this point to justify the hefty license fee over free slicers? Why should I and others have to pay again for 5.0 when we purchased our licenses when release was ...

Re: Floating supports

It's also good to run your supports in 2 angles like 90 and 45 degree.
