Re: OK, Time to Start Yet Another "Where is Version 5? " Thread

Thoughtful that there will soon be more posts about a non-existent v5 than questions about the existing v4.x.

Re: OK, Time to Start Yet Another "Where is Version 5? " Thread

Have been following this for well over a year, and have to say, Too far out.

Have many paid software packages from different companies, and never experienced anything like it.

Using the S3D for many years, i'am happy with it. Had hoped for a v5 at some point, but don't think so anymore.

Re: Help with Nylon Prints

Just a hint, maybe lower the nozzle temp some degree in step of 5 degree, and more cooling, maybe more retraction.
Why use Nylon? PLA_Strong or PETG is always working for me.

Small Circle accurate?

Doing some mechanic design. This is Not a software or design problem. When printing small shaft or hole the diameter is not accurate. From about 4,5mm and up it is spot on! Calibration is spot on with a 30x15 mm cube and layer height is spot on too. Only small parts about <4,5mm round parts have pro...

Re: Simplify 3D removing holes? Bug?

Take a closer look at:
Advanced -> Slicing Behavior
Unclick the Merge all outline....., and select Heal.

Then it slice nice.

Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

I have no problem paying for stable and nice software!
S3D is not expensive compared to what i use it for.
I have compilers for some micro there cost many times what i have payed for S3D, and the license i only for one year!
So for me it is ok to pay for a V5 license.
