Re: Walls missing in part on slice

In that case, you should check the Scripts tabs for G90/G91 or M82/M83 commands, since there was probably an errant G90 or something that was putting everything back into absolute mode even though the old process settings were configured to use relative extrusion distances.

Re: next gen fast printers - bambu, creality etc...

A few of our engineers already working on customizing a profile for the K2 Plus, and of course we already have profiles available for the many Bambu machines as well. Contact our team directly at the link below and they can assist with the profile: https://www.simplify3d.com/contact-us/ Also, in cas...

Re: How to remove this type of solid layer

Might be related to the top and bottom solid layers. If you set both of those to zero, does it go away?

Re: Need help with Simplify3D?

There's a ton of documentation on common print quality issues and how to resolve them here: https://www.simplify3d.com/resources/print-quality-troubleshooting/ If you don't find the answer you're looking for there, post a few pictures of the problem you're having and I'm sure more people here can he...

Can you post a screenshot of the complete error message? That might contain more clues about what's causing it.

Re: V5.1.2 Bridging Perimeters Issue

I don't think we've seen any other customers report this behavior. Might be best to discuss directly with our engineering team at the link below to see if they have more feedback:

Re: Ender 3 S1 with Sonicpad/Klipper

Have you tried clicking the "Add New" button and setting up the connection again? That may help if the printer is now using a different IP address or something else about the connection changed (the wizard will typically figure out all of those changes automatically).

Re: Simplify3d Nozzle Temperature issues

For many of our printer profiles, the machine will heat the bed first, and then when that's done it heats the extruder. That way the nozzle is heated and oozing for several minutes while the bed slowly heats up. If you wait for the bed to finish heating, does the extruder then start heating afterwar...

Re: What's next for S3D?

I just answered a similar question a few weeks ago, so here's what we can share: I certainly appreciate that we would all like faster and more frequent updates. The reality though is that larger releases take extra time to complete. I know the team has been open about the next major V6 update we are...

Re: Gaps in Infill, but not in perimeters

If it goes away when you move the model, that sometimes indicates there's a problem area on the mesh that can sometimes be avoided depending on how you slice it. Frequently changing the layer height very slightly (by 0.0001mm) is another way to fix it. In those cases, many times it can be caused by ...
