Feature Request: Internal Supports

I did a search and was surprised to not have seen this. In case I missed it: I'd love the ability to have internal supports . There is infill, yes, but I feel we could have something better, when you're not concerned about structural strength : Infill is great if you want to make sure the part won't...

Fan Overrides don't respect Per-Layer Fan Controls

Issue I'm having is: For example, I don't want my cooling fan to turn on, no matter what, until layer 4. So in Per-Layer Fan Controls I set layer 1 to 0 , and set layer 4 to say, 25%. In my Fan Overrides section, I have both options checked. My expectation would be that the Fan Overrides would modif...

Feature Request: Solid Diaphragm at set layers

I wish\request the ability print a solid diaphragm at a given layer. Or more than one layer preferably: A field that allows me to enter any number of layers to do a solid diaphragm in. This is to help with the chimney\flat roof problem. Which I will exaggerate here, but it will make the point clear....

Re: Print out Process Settings

It dawned on me that S3D stores all this stuff in the header of the gcode files it writes out. So technically it's not too hard to go in there and copy\paste into some other app.

That being said, it'd be nice to have a feature that says, writes this out as .csv to be brought into a spreadsheet doc.

Re: Skirt/Brim bug ??

I've seen this same issue, and agreed, it'd be nice if it used the underspeed vals of the raft. Or simply had it's own custom underspped val.

Re: Overhangs not being supported

Here's another one: Printing a dagger for a buddy, the blade length is around 230mm. Support pillar resolution set to 1. Overhang angle set to 45: Screen Shot 2015-10-21 at 7.55.10 PM.png Not only will the tip section fail, whole sections of the length will fail as well due to the lack of overall &q...

Re: Overhangs not being supported

"Sure you can, evident by other slicer software doing it just fine." Exactly danielhenley : Whether or not I want tiny support tower or a "big" big one, it should still not leave unsupported structures regardless. It should detect for the unsupported area, and then place either a...

Re: Multiple Processes = multiple floors\roofs

But then I wouldn't get floors or ceilings where I need them based on the layers for that process. If you look at the sample print, each section needs floors and roofs based on the design: If I turn them off,.. well, I'll get holes instead. What I don't want is S3D to make a floor\roof on the inside...

Re: Overhangs not being supported

Thanks CompoundCarl : I lowered the res to 1, and it put support under them. I could complain that the support is too small and sparse now, so I still now need to manually go in and add more support just so the tiny support towers won't try and tip over during print, but at least that's better. Unfo...
