Re: Temperature Controllers Auto-Added

Thanks. I will give that a try. It is just strange that the controller is added back to the process after I delete it. That is a change from the previous version. Thanks again!! I've reported this in another thread, but i've actually had it REMOVE temp controllers from my script. (and not add any b...

Re: Tip of the Day 22 - BFB 3D Touch, CubeX, RapMan & CubePr

I am using S3D with a Cubex (single). I'm still trying to get it dialed in with my filament (ABS) and hot end (e3D lite6 with an adapter I printed). One problem I'm having is the lack of control over flow rate. The Cubex firmware apparently doesn't support 5D-style flow control (E codes), instead u...

Re: 3.0 Freezing

I upgraded to 3.0 and everything freezes after printing a couple of layers. The previous version worked great. Is there a way to go back to the old version of the software? +1 I'm having the same issues when printing from USB on my Flashforge Creator Pro. 2.2 almost NEVER froze when printing USB--i...

Re: Temp Settings in scripts being stripped by software.

Why don't you post the factory file. That will make it really easy to review your settings and tell you what to change. OK.. I've attached a factory file that demonstrates the problem: In the start script, there are 3 temperature set commands: 2 M004, and one M404. The M004 are changed by the post ...

Re: Editing of STL models

One thing that you might try for editing STL files: HP developed a very interesting CAD system for its internal use. They eventually spun it off and offered it up for free. That technology was purchased by PTC and rolled into their CREO product line. CREO/Elements Direct Express is a free download. ...

Re: Temp Settings in scripts being stripped by software.

Why don't you post the factory file. That will make it really easy to review your settings and tell you what to change. I hadn't saved out a factory file and i have a work-around now built into my profile. I do think it is worthwhile to duplicate the problem--i do believe it is a bug--and a potenti...

Re: Thin walls

I have been using the Cura engine within Repetier Host for about 6 months before I decided to purchase Simplify3D. I have had issues with Cura not generating thin walls. Simplify3D seems worse. For instance, the attached file of a Pirate ship. pirateship.stl With a .4mm nozzle, I can get the sails ...

Re: Slicer losing thin walls/details

It is important--and one of the key features of simplify--for it to maintain the integrity of the designed part. If the slicing parameters are such that it cannot create a feature of the designed size, it should tell you. It does this in the preview. Its somewhat disheartening to not notice that it ...

Re: Tip of the Day 22 - BFB 3D Touch, CubeX, RapMan & CubePr

Hope this helps... Thanks for the info. So to feed the material in through the top, I assume required you to take the filament tubeand re-route it to the top, or did you enter the feed motor directly and leave the tube in place? One last thing. I decoded a .cubepro file with CubeX.exe and the file ...
