Re: Force concentric to match the desired shape

this is how S3D generates concentric infill at present. What you are seeing with other features on the top is that it is still producing concentric fill but not in a single circular pattern anymore, rather into multiple segments of concentric fills.

Re: help with pauses / retraction question

Try inserting a pause using Layer change script if you know at what height you are going to stop. Not sure what kind of printer you are using but some take M0 as pause and if you are printing from SD card you have to use M25. See this for more info http://reprap.org/wiki/G-code#M24:_Start.2Fresume_S...

Re: Nozzle Swap

So the most basic setting that needs to be changed is Nozzle size and Extrusion width But as Leeway said, You may have to run a few calibration prints to adjust settings like retraction, print speed sometimes even the temperature. All these are required to control the quality of the prints. When you...

Re: Weistek printer compatibility

It looks like the printer does not use a standard gcode nor a standard x3g. I do not think it is compatible. Nor can I see it listed in S3D's compatibility check tool

Re: PETg with PVA support material

Did you check the retraction distance ? Are they different for both filaments ? Are you able to print if you only use the PETG extruder ? try printing all the items once with the single extruder first. I have only seen the PVA nozzle clog often. its strange that it is happening with PETG. Another th...

Re: leveling heated bed

dont know what printer you have, but for Cartesian printers like the Prusa, you can use the Bed leveling Wizard in Simplify3D. It is available in the tools Menu

No, from what I can see all of them are 2D infill patterns

Re: Replicator+ vs Ultimaker 3

Bw those 2 options, I would blindly pick UM3 as it offers dual extrusion and multi material capability. But its too expensive If I were you I would buy a mid range 3D Printer ($1000-$1500) to start off with, see how your business goes and pick an expensive one based on that. Try something like a Pru...

Re: TPU outer perimeter not adhering to inner perimeter

Yea but 1.70 to 1.75 is a 3% difference. I am upping the extrusion rate to 1.30 which is 30%. That's 10x more. I think there is more than just Math involved here. Printing with TPU might introduce new variables in the eqn. You may want to study about Non newtonian fluid flow to start with. But it l...

Re: TPU outer perimeter not adhering to inner perimeter

I have dropped printing speed down from 70mm/s (which mind you I have been printing at on TPU for nearly a year now) down to 30mm/s which is ridiculously slow. The outer perimeter was not affected AT ALL. Unfortunately it's green and it doesn't show up well at all under any kind of light so a pictu...
