I dont think the printer's firmware version matters. So, are you having problems when printing via usb ? Is your machine connected fine , check the MCP comm log.

RJ, The keychain file is printing well on my MP Select Mini. Did you try printing via SD card ?

When I bought my Prusa variant from Amazon, I used the custom profile set up from Configuration Assistant -> Other option. This was simple and easy to set up and it worked right out of the box for PLA. I did have to tune some settings for other filaments, especially temperature.

Happened to me in the past. I ended up creating my own profile from the Configuration Assistant's custom setting. Worked just well for the 2 printers I needed (Printrbot Simple metal and Rostock maxv2)

Does resizing the bed on the lulzbot Mini profile work ?

I was able to get a profile for the 20 40 from the customer support. try emailing them. not sure if they have the turbo. although both printers are similar

Looks similar to the printrbot simple metal. Have your tried creating a custom profile or use the simple metal as a base profile and make changes ?

Can you post the gcode of the sample files that came along with the printer ?

You may have to go very fine on the layer height. Even though it does not necessarily prevent this, it will mitigate this coarse look
