Re: object measures

If you double-click on the part, you can enter the exact size that you want the object to be (for example, exactly 10mm wide)

You can get the CubePro profile by going to Help > Configuration Assistant. It's already in there.

Re: Diamond hotend

I explained how I'm doing color mixing here: https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=6565&p=28544 If you are only interested in 2 colors, you could just define 2 virtual extruders using the M163 and M164 commands. For example, clear could be T0, and black could be T1. Then you just ...

Re: Reopening clears model selection

If you go to File > Open Factory File, the name of the file you open is displayed in the title bar. So that's an easy way to keep track of which file is open. For your question about printing a single model with a process, you just open that process, click "Select Model", then you can choo...

Re: Dual extrusion setpoints not working as expected

This really isn't "dual" extrusion, since you're just extruding in 1 color for the first 4mm of the print, then you are switching to a different color for the rest of the print. You could actually even do this with a single nozzle by just pausing and changing the filament between prints. B...

Re: autobed out of range

If you have a circular bed with a diameter of 220mm, then you need to use 0.707*220 = 155.5 for both the X and Y build volume. This is explained more below:

Re: Protocol of the actual settings

I'm not sure what you mean by "we" but the OP was asking about a way to print out all of the settings that are being used, which was already explained above. It sounds like you have a separate issue that might warrant a new thread. You said that you have 2 computers and one is slicing a fi...

Re: Printing single wall object?

Personally, I find the single wall prints can be a bit misleading, since the filament usually comes out of the nozzle in an oval pattern, and not a square, which is closer to what you will have in an actual print (since you will have multiple perimeters squished next to each other). So measuring the...

Re: Thin wall Overhangs

If you have steep overhangs with a large layer height, this can happen. The next layer is shifted to much that you can get a gap between the perimeters on each layer. The only way to fix this is to use a lower layer height or edit the model to have less of an overhang (usually not an option). So I w...

Re: Dual extrusion setpoints not working as expected

It would help if you could post a factory file for your print. It's pretty hard to guess what's wrong otherwise
