Re: 3.0 Issues

I AGREE... simplify3d should NEVER delete processes unless you tell it to, or it warns you. that is poor design. Somehow I just lost ALL my Processes last night... this really IS a major problem for us we build machines and theyre all different..!! Please tell me where they went? Is it a file insid...

Re: V3.0.2 Dreamer USB connect problems

Has anyone, more specifically those with Dreamers, had any difficulty connecting via USB? I didn't have any problems till this update, now I just get a "error connecting to machine" message. Its a little frustrating having to go back to the SD card method. With firmware version 2.3, I don...

Re: Makerbot Z18. Temperature over ride issues?

Heres the factory file I would recommend going to Help-->Reset All Settings, then restarting the program. It looks like in your profile you've changed the Extruder Identifier from Tool 0 to Tool 1 and for Temperature tab from Tool 0 to Tool 1 as the Temperature Identifier. After going to Help-->Res...

Re: print alot slower than makerbot software, how to speed it

I 've just got this software and was very excited to use it and get better prints, but one of my prints wants to take nearly 3 hours but in the makerbot software it's makes it in 1.5 hours. I've done the same quality print as fast and 10% infill but it's still saying nearly 3 hours. If anyone can h...

Re: If-Then statement in End gcode block

I have a Makerbot Replicator ...

Re: Mac opens 2nd instance

On my Mac (Ver 10.9.5) if I already have Simplify3D open, and I click on the Simplify3D icon in the Dock, a whole new instance of Simplify3D opens up so now I have two Simplify3D programs running. For other programs on my Mac clicking on the Dock icon just switches to the already open app, which is...

Re: add hilbert curve

I sliced a cube in Repetier and loaded it in the Gcode previewer. This is using the hilbert function for the exterior infill pattern. I think having all the empty space allows the filament to contract uniformly, whereas with rectilinear it would contract more-so in the Z-axis (warping off the bed). ...

Re: Tip of the Day 21 - Support tab, a technical analysis

Hi ! I would like to know how to : 1- space better the supports. I often find them too close to each other when it is not necessary. 2- if I print a model in high quality, can I make supports with low quality ? Importing them separately for instance ? Thanks in advance ! Great questions. For #1, yo...

The CubeX and CubePro are supported, I don't believe the Cube is.

If you go to File-->Save Factory File As, then post that file, it will include your 3D models and FFF settings.
