Re: To much infill

Silly question, but did you set the infill percentage to 0%?

Re: Best eSun PLA+ settings?

ps off topic but I use a 60 degree C bed with hairspray on glass and get excellent results with PLA. Never comes off the bed when printing and when cool the PLA pops right off. Leaves the hairspray on the glass and can get dozens of prints before I have to clean the glass and put new hairspray on. I...

Re: Best eSun PLA+ settings?

Set the support angle so that it is printed 90 degrees different than the infill angle you've set (which is also the angle of the top bottom layers). This reduces the area of contact between the supports and the surface it's close to. I have found this makes a big difference. Also have one layer sep...

Re: Version 5 Announcement

SO basically all they have done so far for "version 5" is to update their licensing backend. What a damn disappointment. Let me guess, you guys will be implementing microtransactions for v5. I've been supporting S3D since version 2 or something but for the past year have switched over to PrusaSlice...

Exactly. Never exit the development cycle trying to make it perfect, and then get passed by the entire market. If you ever release, it will be antiquated and likely a total failure.

Re: Version 5 Announcement

You must have a build of the new version. Release it as beta and let us help with the debug.

You could probably do it with a post processing script on the scripts tab.

Re: support pattern tied to platform - not model

I don't disagree I don't mind moving the part around. I just wish I knew about that over the several years I've owned the program. Not too observant lol.

Re: support pattern tied to platform - not model

Wow this is an amazing post, dead serious. I had no idea this is why this happens! I never even thought to shift the model around on the bed. It's so completely arbitrary it never even occurred to me as a possibility of why sometimes things don't get supported. Thanks for this, this is a great help ...
