Top/Bottom layers to honor infill angles

When I specify infill angles... say for example 0, 45, 90, -45, the infill honors those angles but the top/bottom layers always just print at 45, -45. Also, you might need to specify the top/bottom infill angles separately because if you have a hex infill pattern the same angles don't apply. Problem...

Re: Improvement Request: Generate Raft only under supported

+1.

My current workaround is to import small square and circle objects and scale them to fit under where the support will be.

Re: Adjustable infill

+1, In fact I think I suggested this when they added the feature to support structures for adding a higher density support as it neared the model.

Re: I hate SD cards!!!!!!!

The card size limitation if firmware related, not hardware. Updating the firmware to Sailfish should solve your problem http://jettyfirmware.yolasite.com/features.php#sd +1. I'm using Sailfish on my Flashforge and couldn't be more happy with the upgraded firmware. There are lots of other things bes...

Re: Problem with dual extruders

Are you using sailfish or the Makerbot Firmware which came with the printer? Sailfish has an issue with dual extrusion on this printer but the Makerbot firmware 7.5 works fine. What issue are you referring to? I have sailfish on the Flashforge and it works very very well. I just use Makerbot for du...

Re: Dual Extrusion wizard doesn't like checkerboards

S3D printed in my hand. * purge bumps. - Get these even with a purge tower. Can't configure manual purge towers to save me. - specs. Some say adjust tool change retract settings but I have no luck with this. I've tried lots of settings, with negative restart distance etc. Part of the problem is that...

Re: Dual Extrusion wizard doesn't like checkerboards

Yes it's a hard problem. I don't get perfect results from makerbot software but I get 1) no blobs 2) far less color contamination And yes, FFF is going the way of the dinosaur in not that much longer. I print high quality prints on a Statysis Objet and the results blow you away. It's not perfect eit...

Re: Dual Extrusion wizard doesn't like checkerboards

I've been trying for a day to get a complex two color part to print for a whole day now. * prime tower bugs - if I edit each process individually and use a unique prime tower for each process I still only get one prime tower for one extruder. - If I just use the one prime tower and set to both extru...

Re: Is it easier to remove ABS part from cold or hot bed?

I'm having the greatest success with hairspray on bare glass. Stays on the bed hot and pops right off when the bed cools.
