Re: why is my wording reversed

So why when I print a part with wording on it S3D reveres the lettering on it. Everything is flipped over and backwards Maybe a factory file and/or images of your description might be helpful. I happened to have your factory file from another thread (https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&a...

Re: ''Choose start point closest to specific location'' problem

I'm also using this feature quite often, so far I didn't encounter any bad surprises I can remember of. Anybody happen to
have a factory file showing an example?

Tested this with 4.0.0 and 4.1.2, all niceley aligned to 0, 0 (lower left), seems to work as expected!?

Re: Slicer differences

Hi, With S3D there is some work to do after the print (please see attachments S3D.jpg) where with Creality there is no additional work to do. do you mean the raft where everything is placed on? If you don't need that for bed adhesion you can easily disable it on the "Additions" tab inside ...

Using firmware retractions does require replacement steps, yes. But setting speeds to mm/s is just one click
inside the general options...

Re: Still in business?

People appear to be abandoning the product, based on the slow decline in postings here. I certainly could have learned to be proficient in another slicer in the time I have wasted checking for update info here. I think that's the only real option available right now. I don't "need" v5 any...

Re: Unable to slice letters on surface

Thx for the investigation. This is part of a rc plane. Thin walls to make it lighter. Was CAD in fusion 360. Without the writings it works great. Just trying to add the logo to the skin of the plane... A simple extruded sketch. Does the unmodified file show any of the signs like "disappearing ...

Re: Unable to slice letters on surface

Hi, There must be s setting i am missing! not really, it's more a faulty model. There's quite some errors and the whole slicing process seems to be using single extrusions all the way.... netfabb reports dozens of shells and a non-closed surface on the model. Also you can see the disappearing faces ...
