Re: keep getting asked for activation code

Got to admit I'm impressed. Easter weekend, got a reply very quickly - reset and now it all works again :-) Plus I think the problem is the fact that when they release a new version it doesn't uninstall the old version. So I ended up activating 4 versions on the same computer. If the uninstaller ask...

Re: keep getting asked for activation code

But in order to do that I need to be able to access the program - which i can't. This kind of thing is super annoying. I'll try u...

The ability to select just a part of a model to adjust or

print. Say I had a model and one part needed to be longer. At the moment I can only change the size of the whole model. But if I could select just the part of the model that needed resizing it would save a lot of time and effort and I wouldn't have to remodel it in a cad package. Likewise if i wante...

Re: Give me your Infill tips

I hear you. Why there can't be an option to produce a solid infill rather than this super weak 'every other level' infill is beyond me. One work round is to increase the infill width to 250% That might cause issues if printing at speed and it's not pretty. It's not perfect and still nowhere near as ...

Re: 2.2 Release Discussion Thread!

Seems to work okay. But the response time between the computer and the printer over usb - flashforge creator - seems to have a lot of little stops and starts that I don't remember noticing in the previous release. Thanks for the mm/s and filament weights. Now. where do i set the filament density ? F...

Re: Nylon Bridge print settings

damn - got the bridge because the 618 is a nightmare for anything other than tiny prints.

And yes I did leave the 618 in the dehydrator for about 12 hours before printing. Didn't seem to make any difference. haven't tried the bridge yet. But yeah, bought because it was supposed to be a lot better.

Re: More options for stronger infill.

still having strength problens with s3d infill. It's just got no lateral strength at all. Basically what it does is print every other layer on the rectilinear infill. So the only solid infill is at the nodes where the lines cross. And that's what makes it so frigging weak. makerware's honeycomb infi...

Re: Weird right head problems with flashforge creator

Okay - but the deedly deedly dee noise indicates that the temperature is reached and stabilised and it's ready to print.
It makes the noise.

But I'll try unticking the temp stabiliser tab - cheers

Weird right head problems with flashforge creator

Okay so I haven't had a right nozzle for a while. Various reasons, none relevant to this problem. And haven't been having any communication issues printing with the left head. I've now fitted a 0.5mm head to righty and cannot print from it with simplify 3d. If I load the right head profile. It goes ...
