Re: Way overblown filament length for print when switching extruders

I was unable to reproduce this using the Factory File you provided. Both the Left and Right extruder configs resulted in total print lengths of 9134.8 mm. Can you let me know the exact workflow you used to get the result you are referring to?

Re: Linux Mint SSL Error

Please make sure that you are launching Simplify3D with the launchscript. I have included a link below for the FAQ that covers this issue in more detail. https://www.simplify3d.com/support/faq/#quest-6346

Re: Turn off perspective view

You can do this on Windows by going to Tools > Options > Visualization and then check the box labeled "Use orthographic camera with no perspective". On Mac this menu is located under Simplify3D > Preferences.

Re: How can i import rendered files?

I think it's the import, not the export, that is the issue. If Cura can render (and slice/print?) the Obj with less faceting than S3D then I would argue its the S3D Obj importer that is segmenting the curves too coarsely. I'm trying to find Obj import settings in S3D 4.1.2 Anyone got any idea? Anyo...

Re: Save toolpaths to disk Qiditech x-pro

I have the same issue. The printer won't create a preview of the part, nor will it print if I try printing the gcode. I can open the generated gcode in the Qidi provided slicer. When I Open in the slicer, there is a warner that there may be "unsupported gcode" Not really sure what the nex...

Re: Undesired extra filaments across wholes. How to fix it?

This sounds like stringing. We have a great Print Quality Guide article that covers this issue so I have included a link to that below: https://www.simplify3d.com/support/print-quality-troubleshooting/stringing-or-oozing/ If you have more specific questions it would be helpful to post a Factory File...

Re: Infill lines missing

You seem to be on the right track here. Simplify3D will only fit infill lines that do not conflict with your settings. Things like infill overlap %, infill extrusion width, your default extrusion width, the minimum infill length setting etc will all affect this. This looks like the first layer. Are ...
