This seems to create new processes - that's not what I'm after. I have a template factory file with (usually) 14 processes. An STL will be associated with up to three of them. I may have multiple STLs in the same group of processes, or each STL might be unique. I open up the template factory file wi...
I use a template factory file with (typically) 14 processes. Models get assigned to up to three of the processes, I run multiple models per job. Often I am not using all of the processes in the list. It just depends on the models and how many I am running. Selecting all the processes is rarely the r...
I could be overlooking something, but it seems that assigning models to processes in V5 still requires going into every process and selecting the models from a list. This is a real pain when dealing with many models and multiple processes. I was REALLY hoping this would be more interactive in V5, li...
Compared a couple of my more recent large builds to see how slicing speed compares. On my machine - Windows 11, i9 12900HX 64GB, V5 slices in about half the time of V4.1.2.
I only tried this on one setting. Was playing around and wanted to see what the adaptive layer height would do in one of my builds. I grouped all the processes and then checked the adaptive layer height in one process. It only changed it in that process. By V4 process grouping workflow it should hav...
I also saw this, and don't see the benefit of automatically selecting all processes. I also often select processes prior to slicing as the list box is larger and it's easier/faster there.
The blue bounding boxes on processes are annoying - at least at this point. I can see how they could be useful at times, but I can't figure out what they are called, or how they can be disabled. Is there a button I can poke somewhere to turn those off or on? I use multiple processes in all my builds...
