hiya,

I was wondering if there was a way to add a script where I can set the speed for a specific feature.

I want to set the speed of the DENSE SUPPORT to a very slow speed. (separate from the support layers)

is this possible?

there are two things I would suggest. you have saved the file with .GCode in the filename. delete this before you copy it over. I am not too sure but it could be something to do with the wipe and coast in the extruder tab and in the advance tab the wipe during retraction and only wipe on outer most perimeter.

if you disable them and see what happens.

have you tried to increase the extra inflation distance and/or manually adding them?

I find when using a raft that the first layer speed is at default speed and not the reduced speed for perimeter and solid infil.

I change the first layer speed in the GCode file directly and set it to 1500. seems to work well.

Hiya, I have a number of speed issues and therefore am having to edit the GCode file directly. if you add dense support layers then open the gcode file in notepad.

"ctrl F" search for dense and change the speed to 1000 or so.

i get pretty good bottom layers as the dense support layer acts like a good base

you could make changes to end script in process 1 and possibly the start script in process 2
