I had this, too. Reason seems to be that the software ist just splitting your model whre you tell to do. But sometimes depending on the layer-height it can not "fill" untill the desired height. Say your 1st process is just 1mm high and your layer height 0,4mm it will draw 2 layers and leav...

In my experience thus already happened with the 3.1.1. Unchecking the box for deceleration for Layers unser "x"-seconds does the Trick nur certainly is just a workaround and is not suitable for all designs...
