i know this is kinda simple but........is your hot end up to temp? not familiar with your firmware but every one will have a min temp setting before the extruder motor will turn. in most versions of marlin its 170 deg.

petg is just a sticky plastic when it melts. i have been printing petg for prob 2.5 years and can say those couple few hairs i see in your pic is totally normal and for the most part you have them under control about as best as your prob gonna get. i have done some prints in the past where the hairs...

oh yeah, thats nothin. if you were printing hot you would really know it. i have seen prints come out like almost a solid spider web. what you have there is perfectly normal. before each print i use a small wire brush and give the nozzle a quick scrub while its hot to remove any buildup. if you have...

in addition to what carl said, lower your printing temp a little and also change your outline direction to inside-out.

the higher the temp the more stringy it will be. esun petg for example will get hairy if printed up around 255 but drop that down to 240 and they go away. what brand of petg is it and can you post a picture showing the hairs you are getting?

Petg is sticky and you will always get fine hairs to point. The problem is when they are excessive. If you feel they are excessive then there are really 2 things that cause them, not enough retraction and too high extrusion temp. Retraction is easy, 1-2mm on a direct drive extruder is usually enough...

i use rhino to model exclusively. i have never had it export a bad model. not sure what you are trying to do with a 3dm file. you need to export as an stl.

on the gcode tab, check the box that says "include m101/m102/m103" OR the 5D firmware box also produces extrusions. im not sure which one is applicable to you r printer. i run marlin firmware on mine and i do not have the m101 box checked but the 5d box is.

Your under extruding. You have not calibrated your filament dia and ext multiplier correctly
