Re: Simplify3d Flashforge Creator Pro Left Extuder Issue

The printer cam brand new with sailfish preinstalled.

Looking at the gcode the issue is certainly due to the machine's end stop preventing the startup script moving all the way to the right.

Can't get multiple extruders to work successfully

I have a flash forge creator pro with white PLA in the left extruder and black ABS in the right. I'm trying to print a traffic cone using the dual extrusion wizard but both times, part of the ooze shield / print fails and the pla nozzle gets jammed. I can print the cone using a single extruder just ...

Re: Simplify3d Flashforge Creator Pro Left Extuder Issue

Just as I thought, the left extruder doesn't clear the bed as the end stop prevents it. I'll contact support and see what they say

Re: Simplify3d Flashforge Creator Pro Left Extuder Issue

I'll check tonight if my left extruder on my FFCP 2016 can actually clear the right side of the bed, if not, then that will probably be the issue.

Re: Simplify3d Flashforge Creator Pro Left Extuder Issue

Do you have the 2016 version of the flash forge creator pro? I found something interesting here https://github.com/markwal/OctoPrint-GPX/issues/20 wait position is too far right. When it hits that M133 T1 it will try to move the head 34mm to the right, but the endstop will stop it and then you'll be...

Re: Simplify3d Flashforge Creator Pro Left Extuder Issue

Could the default starting script be wrong? This is the code for the left nozzle ; **** left Replicator 1 dual start.gcode **** M73 P0 ; enable build progress G162 X Y F3000 ; home XY maximum G161 Z F1200 ; home Z minimum G92 Z-5 ; set Z to -5 G1 Z0 ; move Z to 0 G161 Z F100 ; home Z slowly M132 X Y...

Re: Simplify3d Flashforge Creator Pro Left Extuder Issue

I guess the other thing that could be happening is that the nozzel offsets are stored on the eeprom on the printer (34mm). Could simplify3D also be adding another 34mm to the position?

Re: Simplify3d Flashforge Creator Pro Left Extuder Issue

wirlybird I will try that tonight. Should the left extruder prime on the left of the bed or the right? There isn't enough room for it to prime on the right, which is what Simplify3D is doing at the moment.

Simplify3d Flashforge Creator Pro Left Extuder Issue

When I print with the right extruder, the nozzle moves to the right of the bed to prime but when I use the left nozzle, it doesn't go to the left side to do the prime, it stays to the right and extrudes straight onto the bed rather than off the side. It also prints off the bed when I do large prints...

Re: Da Vinci Jr. Can't get the first layer down

Hi I've tried the guide but things get worse. The temps are controlled automatically by the printer. If I lower the nozzle the extruder starts clicking quite bad.
