flashforge Adventurer 3

hi

I'm wondering if simplify 3d have a flashforge adventurer profile that can save gcode as .gx so I can load it straight into flashprint

thanks in advance

Re: flashforge Adventurer 3

You can add
{EXTENSION "gx"}
to the post-processing commands section under Scripts. Why would you slice a model in S3D to then just reslice in Flashprint?

Also, it will probably work fine with the extension ".g". At least it does on my Guider II. I just slice in S3D and send to a USB drive and load to the printer.

Re: flashforge Adventurer 3

hi thanks heaps

I thought if I sliced it in s3d then opened that slice in flashprint I could send it directly to the printer I didn't know it would get resliced

Thanks

You could I guess but it seems like extra steps! Try it and see how it goes.

Re: flashforge Adventurer 3

The GX extension implies a different type of file. The printer should not accept a .GX file that is actually a Simplify3D gcode file without the proper header data you'd see when examining a GX file produced by FlashPrint.

WirlyBird is correct that the .G extension is more of what you're looking for. And yes, the direct upload is possible using the .G extension. FlashPrint won't re-slice the file.

I have the same issue, I changed the .g to .gcode to use Polar Cloud and I get an error saying bad format then when I use the .g file again and load with flashprint I get double as well.

Please email our support team for an updated profile that eliminates this graphical representation in FlashPrint.
