correct x/y/z coordinates

Hello to all,
we have built a printer with x/y/z insert handling to insert inserts (e.g. with threads) into the prints during the printing process and overprint them afterwards. This already works very well.
Problem: if I want to determine the destination-coordinates for the pick&place-grupper in simplify3d, the axes always have some offset. Sometimes it's 5 mm, sometimes 3.5 etc.
How can I reliably determine the coordinate position of a point in simplify3d (in the coordinate system of the printer)?
