Hi Guys,

So I just got the Flashforge Creator3 with IDEX system.

Can you please add support for this printer and in particular, add support for its IDEX system in an optimal way.
I'm not a fan of Flashprint

Cheers

Where did you get the Creator 3? Been looking but haven't really seen if for sale yet.
What was the cost if I may ask?

I am also waiting for this.. I really thought I would be printing with it more but I miss a Simplify3D profile. At Flashforge they say they sent a Creator 3 to S3D but a profile is still missing..

Thanks everyone for your interest in an official profile for this new machine. We appreciate your patience as we too have been waiting quite a while to get our hands on this printer. (The machine hasn't arrived at our offices yet.) Please send our support team a contact request from your Simplify3D registered account email address so we can begin to notify you as the profile nears a more final state.

OK ,thanks. I have sent a mail so I hope I will be informed. I didn't get it to work with the Creator myself yet.

I hope you guys can get a profile out soon.

I have sent the manual and the test gx/gcode that came with the printer to the support team, let's hope for a quick solution

I've uploaded a profile which is only for duplicate printing.

If someone from simplify3d could adapt from this profile and make an official one then that would be awesome.

I edited the starting script and the additional terminal commands and it now prints using both extruders at the same time.

This hasn't been tested on large models.

Just place a small model in the centre of the build plate and slice from their. Once you are happy with how it works, play around with different sizes and positions to see if there are any limits.

Simplify3D doesn't provide support for duplication and mirror modes. The Creator 3 firmware requires a specific feature that is only present in FlashPrint in order to properly orient duplication mode parts.

I am considering adding this printer as another production printer. What are your opinions on it so far?

Thanks.

It includes some annoying safety features that would cause me to not recommend it for a production environment printer. Most frustrating of them would be the fact that back to back prints will include a ton of downtime for the printer waiting on the nozzles and bed to cool down before being allowed to heat up for the next print.
