Extruder Path To Avoid Crossing Infil Or Body Of Part

Not sure what you would call this!
A setting to make the extruder follow outer perimeters of a model so as to avoid travel moves crossing the body/infill of a print.
The idea would be to help avoid collision between the nozzle and internal parts of the model such as smaller pillars the nozzle could knock over.
This can be relevant when some areas or edges of inner areas of a print may curl a tiny bit and are more prone to nozzle strikes.
Similar results as Z-Hop on retraction but some printers don't handle Z-Hop that well.
It would increase print times but maybe would be something that is selectable by layer such as temps or fan control.
Also maybe a setting to make it do this only for travel moves over a specified distance.
