I'm trying to streamline my multi material scripts (3in-1out non mixing hotend).
And with that i want to do a purge with the first tool/filament on each print, to remove any filament that's left from the previous printing job that potetnially might have a higher melt temp than the one that i'm going to print with on the new job.
So i would pretty much just want a [first_tool] placeholder that i could put in the start script that translates to the tool that will do the first lines in the print!
Hope this can be easily implemented, and fast. Bet lots of the multi tool users would love that.

Thanks for suggesting this first tool placeholder. This would be a great improvement for mixing extruders. As a workaround you can set which tool will print the skirt and make sure that you end your starting script by transitioning to that extruder.
