Hi - I'm a newbie in 3D printig - but I'm doing software for more than 30 years.
Your software is very nice - but it needs more interactivity ...
Urge your programmers to USE the software and DO MULTIPLE prints from a-z with the software!
Nice to have:
- Requestable PAUSE after printing skirt - let's decide the user to continue print dependent of skirt is everywhere the same thickness (looks nice)
- Selectable to expand skirt arround total printing area (e.g. 5 mm to min/max x/y values) - this minimizes failure print if there are multiple objects.
- Let define a Pause at Level x - to make changes of filament possible . before continue let the user do some manual processes, like extrude until color is pure
- After an emergency stop ALLWAYS increase Z-axis to avoid burn in
- Before executing Home ALL, or home x or home y - increase z by a certain amount to avoid nozzle to hang in clamps. Home Z at the end.
Redesign the GUI for temperature - the OK button is right bellow temp/level entry. Most of the time I'm pressing OK - instead of 'add'
