brim outside of printable space - really?

I'm kind of surprised that the software does not already do this. If you have an object on the bed which, with brim, exceeds the dimensions of the bed, why would the slicer still try to put material there?

I've had a few plates where s3d would happily print outside of the configured workspace.

Hmmm sounds like the program does not care about the dimensions :-(

Most be a bug.

I've had this happen with all of the automatic inclusions. It appears that there is no bound checking whatsoever for the things in the "Additions" tab. Seems like sloppy coding :/

+1 - bounds checking on additions would be good for sure. I've also had to watch the edges of the plate on the previews.

+1 Been bugging me for almost 2 years now, I need the brim, but this just causes significantly too many issues
