[ADDED] independent axis scaling

Unless I missed it, currently it is only possible to scale the model globally with a fixed aspect ratio.

Can we get the option to scale each axis independently? When adjusting for ABS shrinkage for example I find 1% works well in X and Y but isn't required in Z... in some tight tolerance parts the fact I have to scale Z as well means it doesn't fit well.

Re: feature request - independent axis scaling

I would also very much like to see this added.

This is still not in the 2.0 version. It would be very useful, and seems easy to add.

Re: feature request - independent axis scaling

MakerWare has this functionality and it is awesome! You can use it to shrink one axis and not bother the others. I use it all the time to make things like block letters larger in the X and Y direction but not super thick like they would be if I increased all axis.

Generally I bump up the scale to 200%, then I uncheck the "Uniform Scaling" box in MakerWare and bring the Z-Axis back down to where I want it. Again, this seems like a pretty easy thing to implement, but also very powerful for making simple size modifications to our designs.

Non-uniform scaling was added in version 2.1
