I have been thinking about this a bit and I think it would be a great addition. When doing infill, closer to the wall should have smaller gaps to reinforce the outside structure but, especially when printing something large, I think if it increased the size of the cells, this would be great. I have honeycomb in mind. Say, near the walls at 15% infill and as we're getting away from the walls, decrease to 5% (in 1% decrements every cell deep for example). This would decrease the cost and, unless I'm completely wrong about this "shower thought", would keep the print just as strong.
Does that make sense? I am crazy?
