As a user, I would like the ability to select from a list of textures that I can assign to my parts, use a slider to define the intensity of that texture so that I can have parts that mask the print layers and generally have a more professional appearance.

Textures should include:
- selection of fabric patterns
- random noise patterns similar to mold tec patterns used in injection molding
- leather textures
- stripes (at user defined angles
- diamond nerled patterns.
- user define patterns based on gray scale bitmaps.

Doubt this would ever be implemented, however, if we could choose/define a printing pattern as defined in how a LAYER is printed....I believe this would give a look of texture and depending on the material, a feel as well.

For those of you confused and thinking I'm saying the same thing, no. He is asking for a feature that is a physical addition or change to the model mesh. What I am referring to is how the lines are being "Layed" side-by-side as to give an APPEARANCE of texture.
