Re: Something similar to Cura's FuzzySkin

Yes, indeeed. Fuzzy skin has lot of uses, especially for objects to be held in hand. Fuzzy skin is almost only reason I use Cura sometimes, but the option to select only "outer skin" would be needed, Cura places it everywhere...

Re: Something similar to Cura's FuzzySkin

It is now OVER 2 years since the last update of any sort for this software. I wouldn't hold your breath.

I'm also very interested in this feature. But it's now about 3 years as the request was made.....

Re: Something similar to Cura's FuzzySkin

Just payed for an upgrade to v5 and once again behind in features of cura :D If I wasn't already invested I probably wouldn't have upgraded had I realized this feature wasn't in S3D yet.

Prusaslicer and Cura have this feature and it works pretty well.

It would be very cool to have this feature implemented in S3D.

Re: Something similar to Cura's FuzzySkin

I would also like to have a FuzzySkin function, meanwhile every good slicer has this, only Simplify3D has not managed to incorporate this feature for years. You get the impression that Simplify3D does nothing for the high price that customers pay for it. I have already reported 2 bugs to the support over 3 months ago. Nothing happened. All they keep saying is that they are forwarding the problem to the developers ...
