Sure, I'd take a look at it. Can you upload your Simplify3D factory file?

A pure guess based on the fact that I think that by using Tinkercad you will not be generating a single mesh when exporting to stl.
In the Mesh dropdown menu, select "Separate Connected Surfaces".....and if I'm right, there will now be more than one entry in the Model list, and the model will now slice okay.
