Is Simplify3D still alive? (It's been almost a year since an update)

I got into 3D printing around the time that S3D 4.0 came out and I haven't seen an update since... There are lots of little bugs in S3D and so many interesting features being added routinely to other slicers. Is S3D working on a version 5.0 or does the partnership with FlashForge mean that S3D is dead?

I Also Agree watching Cura develop when it was once lagging behind is disappointing, they are running with dual prints and the way they are managing temperatures while changing heads,,COME ON Simplify I thought you were better than this.......

I'm always amused at these "Is XXXX dead?" posts.
There have been two updates for Simplufy3D in the last 12 months.....v4.0 and v4.0.1....and yet the (stupid, in my opinion) question has been asked.
SImplify3d.com have always been very reluctant to give out any information whatsoever regarding their development and/or error correction plans. I don't really know why.....but I can guess that should they say someting like "We're looking at possibly releasing an update in around two months time."...then after two months and five seconds some joker will post "Where is the update you promised two months and 30 seconds ago??"
The website is still there....the forum is still up and running. As far as I have seen in the past few weeks, new users on the forum have had post moderation....and nobody has reported that support emails are being ignored. From all of these, I think its obvious the company is still there. They just do not spend time and money talking to existing users!.....which is a shame.

Just to add a bit more info, we are all very busy right now working on our upcoming 4.1 release. I believe 4.0.1 was released less than 6 months ago, and we're anxious to get the next big release completed so that we can roll that out as well.
