Small Features on First Layer

I'm running Horizontal Size Compensation (-0.4mm) to help with bottom flaring and have noticed a lot of very small sections being laid down that are prone to not sticking. Can anyone think of a way to help with these features?

I do a raft but as just one solid layer. Not in front of S3D right now to relay the settings I have used though.
Basically you are just adding a layer for the small areas to better adhere to.

Rather than a Raft which sucks a lot of print time and plastic I use a brim. On the additions tab set the Skirt layer to 1, Skirt offset to 0 and outline to 6 or 8 The ring of plastic will be attached to the first layer of the part and will need to be trimmed off but will keep the part stuck to the plate.

That's a good idea also and maybe better if there are a bunch of smaller areas.

One layer and one outline are actually perfect.
