Here is the basics.
Printing an object that is basically a rectangle. It is large and there is a lot of infill so I turn on retract only when crossing an open space. No point in a lot of retractions for infill!
However, I want normal retractions for the last couple layer so they don't have the scar marks.
Is this a situation where I need to do a second process for the last couple layers?
Or is there a way to configure the settings so retractions will happen for the solid layers?

The best way to do this is to use multiple processes to change the retraction settings for the top layers.
