so, you are not s3d user? as s3d never ships (and afaik never shipped) a "demo" nor "trial", you buy it and then you use it
gcodestat integrates with Simplify3D and allow you to
Calculate print time accurately (acceleration, max speed, junction deviation all taken into consideration)
Embed M117 codes into G-Code
Upload your G-Code directly to Octoprint

Can we just get a few teasers at least? Something to get us even a little intrigued about the updates? At this point I’d say 99% of us users are far more annoyed with V5’s lack of information advertising than excited about it’s release.

We will be posting more information about V5 as we get closer to the release. That includes new feature teasers!

Thank you Chris, I think I have asked this before but how much closer do we need to get there are currently 50 day 8 hours left in 2019? are you still set for a 2019 launch??

@JantzenDay, you hit the nail on the head it has been said many times that this is the poorest run "launch" we have ever seen anywhere. very little information. I have been happy-ish with Simplify 3D and their slicing of most models, but the way they have run this release has just totally put me off.

Look, seriously, if current users do not get a REAL special price on v5 S3D has lost me. I'm out! Prusa slicer 2 works great and has features that S3D 4.whatever does not get close to. I have work to do and I cannot operate on endless promises and waiting for a version that may never happen!

If you have already purchased a Simplify3D license in the past, you will not need to buy a full license again, there will only be a small upgrade fee required.

Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

I personally don't have an issue with a paid upgrade as long as it is reasonable, I do remember seeing " one life time" payment. Anyway, maybe an idea of what will be in the software, variable layer height depending on the angle...things like that, I have been anxiously waiting for news, can we get an update as to progress?
thanks

Ok, no date about S3D V5 release, but give us, at least, a date for the publication of the info about V5.
