Hi all,

I have a model with 6 variations which is for a serial number only.
I have added custom supports to the first model.
Is there a way to change the STL but maintain the supports?

Nothing in the model changes except some text so supports will be the same for all 6.

Try this....

1) Centre & arrange model so it lands at a common reference position on the bed
2) In the Support Generation window, export the supports to a save file
3) Reload your changed model
4) Centre & Arrange it
5) Import the saved supports
…..and you should be good to print!

and....
6) Save as a factory file...so you can come back to the whole thing to print again...

I think that is going to work! I don't know why I didn't think of that. I knew I had seen that export before!
