How to edit models

Hello,
I own a Makergear M3 ID.
It's a very good printer.
Unfortunately, I have to choose between the simple Cura included in OctoPrint, or Simplify3D.
But I haven't found how to rotate an object along the three axes with simplify3D, and the included version of Cura is very limited.
I think that it is a trivial operation. But it seems that this operation is complex in "Simplify3D".
Thanks for a good manual
Best regards

Just double-click on the model. It'll bring up a side panel with movement and rotation controls.

Re: How to edit models

Hello,
thanks for your answer.
I have two remarks:
Is the double click only a "shortcut" for a normal feature reachable with a menu ? I hope so.
Then, IMHO, the dialog that appears and must be filled with numerical values is all but simple.
Even the very simple cura embedded in octoprint offers both this way, and a graphical input.
Best regards

Thanks for the great discussion topic! In addition to the Model Settings Panel, you can also use the "Full 3D Transform Gizmo" to move, scale, and rotate in 3D.

Here's a video on the gizmo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moMR90DmzD4
