automatic one line print on the side

Sat Sep 21, 2019 4:41 am

Hi everyone,

I try to look everywhere in the software and internet without success for my problem :

When you prepare to print your piece, the software adds one line of printing on the side. I do not want this or I want to deplace it because it mess with my clip that maintain the plate.

Here a picture to understand.

Thanks

Looks like something in the start script. My machines don't do that.

It is a prime line and is in the start script. You should be able to remove it or adjust where it prints.

You can do this in the scripts tab of your process settings! You can identify this line using the following qualifiers:
  • Line begins with G1
  • Line contains E value that is not 0
  • Line contains X or Y value
You can either modify where the line is or delete the line altogether and use a skirt to prime your nozzle.

thanks everyone for your answers.

Here is the automatic script :

G28 ; home all axes
G1 X5 Y10 Z0.2 F3000 ; get ready to prime
G92 E0 ; reset extrusion distance
G1 X160 E15 F600 ; prime nozzle
G1 X180 F5000 ; quick wipe

Maybe it is the "quick wipe" ? However even after deleted it, there is still the printing.... pretty anoying, and you tell me that in your case there is not such thing ??
