still no v5? no further info.. nothing? last email we got was "early 2020".... well.. IT'S ALMOST JULY!!! what gives? and don't even think of blaming covid19... covid19 means nothing to programmers who spend their professional life either in a cube or at home ANYWAY. ..so.. what gives already??

My year ended this June, So much for the price including a year of free updates, I haven't seen an update since paying for this.

The moderator S3D-Chris is not dead, as we can see in the last messages screen:

Unfortunately, he does not comment on anything. As if he didn't even see those comments about version 5. He only answers insignificant things.

I think more and more S3D as a company that is not customer aware, arrogant, and finally not providing enough value for money anymore.
While they don't talk to their trusty customers, don't reply to any request even politely, competitors are making progresses, and finally when V5 will pop out, (if it ever happens.... ) we will easily find those features in other free packages like Cura, Prusa, PathIO and you name it.
Last message from dev is 7 month now, this is too old, I am currently switching to other packages.
After all this radio silence all that is missing is a big middle finger to the people who supported them, which, I guess, they are already giving us.

Chris

Chris come on
its now time to address the questions that you customers have. If you don't have a viable upgrade yet it is not failure to admit that you need more time. Just explain and keep us informed. No one is going to jump down your throat because your programming efforts are not going as planned. Just keep the information flowing. There are tons of customers that will be willing to give you some input. Use this resource as it is available to you. We all want to see you succeed.

$50 says that S3D is trying to collect on federal PPP funding along with small business loans until it isn't available anymore, then they will blame 2020 CoronaVirus for their failure even though its software.... Then they will have drained their accounts and file for bankruptcy.
