Moons' makes great steppers. I've switched most of my steppers to moons' since they're very well built, quieter, accurate, and have less vibration than most. On most desktop printers, you won't find anything but nema 17's, which can do the job fine. Ultimaker also uses Moons'.

Re: What stepper mtor do you guys use for 3D Printer?

it depends on so many things
- what type of printer
- what type of axis
- what driver
- what voltage
- what speed ...

you can find out something on this calculator for e.g. ... the max speed you can expect from a motor based on it's parameters and what voltage your driver uses: https://www.reprapfirmware.org/ (click on emf calculator)

much more calculation and explanation here: https://www.orientalmotor.com/technolog ... tions.html
gcodestat integrates with Simplify3D and allow you to
Calculate print time accurately (acceleration, max speed, junction deviation all taken into consideration)
Embed M117 codes into G-Code
Upload your G-Code directly to Octoprint
